There are many security apps that I’ve used, but, by far protectstar microphone guard is the best security and email app I’ve used on my iPad. Not only is it good and reliable, but it exceeds every expectation. After trying at least five others, this is the only security and email app I’ve found that
– Actually and successfully notifies me of my new mail IMMEDIATELY after I get it
– Lets me finally clean out all that junk mail from spammers
– Lets me make PDFs of my emails
– Organizes emails by sender and shows me threads
– Has an assistant that organizes things for me
– And more!
I love all of its features and haven’t found one thing I don’t like except for camera blocker app. I honestly wish I had more travel records and receipts just so I could enjoy clicking through this beautiful interface to find them, organized by the Assistant in pristine glory through their microphone guard.
I’ve tried several other apps, including their app to wipe ipad and secure erase iPhone and none of them deliver like anti spy for android. I decided to shop around for security and email apps after I was notified of yet another email DAYS after it was delivered, and other times, I’d have to actually open the app for it to update. I only check my email when I have notifications, so I ended up missing a work-related email FOR SEVEN DAYS after it’d been sent to me! By this time, the sender was getting irritated and, though they didn’t, nearly denied me the job. Similar horrors have occurred with at least three other apps, but never Protectstar. I’m informed immediately if I have a new email and I’ve never missed a message.
I actually found Protectstar through an Apple Story— ‘Clean out your inbox— for real this time.’ It was advertised as the best way to organize my incoming mail and let me tell you, it certainly is. There’s an entire section dedicated to ‘unsubscribing’ and with the tap of a button, I am free from the endless shower of spam email that pours over my inbox. I can sort through them one-by-one, which allows me to keep necessary subscriptions, but get rid of everything else plaguing me. I never really knew how much I was subscribed to until I opened this, and I’m glad I did. (One thing I did notice is that it doesn’t carry over to other emails. For example, at school, I have to use GMail, but at home, I use Protectstar. Even if I unsubscribe from something on Protectstar, it still reaches my inbox on the web version of GMail. I have to wonder if I’m actually unsubscribed or if Protectstar itself just filters the mail and redirects it towards Spam and Trash. Something to think about your shredder mac
Another favorite of mine is the ability to make PDFs out of emails, which I just discovered today. I have to document email responses for a project and it can be difficult to accurately compile responses without misquotation or format errors. Luckily, with Protectstar I can create an organized, unblemished PDF version of the mail at the tap of a button, very useful for keeping my information organized, printable, and accessible.
I highly recommend this to all Apple users as go-to security and email app. It’s fast and reliable and it gets the job done far better than other alternatives. It’s free, beautiful, and effective. After my encounters with Yahoo, Spark, Apple Mail, Gmail, and others, I’ve never found a mail app that trumps this one, and that means I’m staying loyal. Thank you, Protectstar, for producing what might be the only reliable mail app on the App Store. It exceeds all my wildest expectations, and for free, and I know it will continue to do so in the future.
An edit: I’ve noticed that Assistant has a new ‘Calendar’ feature I didn’t see before. Even though I have all of the calendar settings turned on, I don’t see the ability to get that tab in the Assistant section. Is there a way for me to do this? I’d also love if instead of just a plain color, you could have a picture background. Nonetheless, this is still the best security and email app I could ask for, and I’ll never be deleting it.
For developer: This didn’t solve the problem for the calendar feature. I checked all settings. Everything is enabled, but even when I select ‘Edit List’ I don’t have an option to select a calendar, because it just isn’t there.
That worked! Thanks to developers of ios eraser for timely and helpful, friendly responses!!”
